- American Animal Hospital Associations (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada. Hospitals are voluntarily exaluated on over 800 standards. Some of which include: quality of care; pharmacy; medical records, management; diagnostic and facility. AAHA has gathered extensive pet health information for Veterinary resources.

- National Animal Poison Control Center
This is the website of the National Animal Poison Control Center. It includes a library, links to other sites, and phone numbers for the poison control center.
- Michigan Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) represents over 2000 veterinarians and veterinary students, the MVMA provides continuing education for veterinarians and related profeessional, monitors state legislation and regulations and also promotes veterinary medicine through a public education program.
- Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians (MAVT) is here to represent and promote Veterinary Technicians in the State of Michigan. MAVT provides direction, continuing education and support to veterinary technician students, new graduate, or veterinary technicians with experience.
- Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) was created by and for veterinary hospital manager in 1981. VHMA pursues excellence in practice management, open the lines of communication between hospitals to develope friendships and share ideas at conferences. VHMA also offers a certifcation for practice managers.
