Constance (Connie) Moll, DVM
Dr. Moll was born and raised in Northern Michigan where she was an active skier. After graduating from Michigan State Veterinary College in 1974 she moved to Midland and became a partner in Midland Animal Clinic in 1980. Dr. Moll has been active in both professional and community organizations and has served on the board of directors for the Midland Chamber of Commerce, the State of Michigan Veterinary Board, and Michigan Veterinary Medical Association. She has also served on a number of committees including AAHA, Rotary, United Way and others. Dr. Moll is licensed in both Michigan and Arizona, and currently spends winters in Phoenix and summers in Midland. Her pet family includes three horses, and two chocolate Labs named Muddy Paw and Judy. They all commute with her between Michigan and Arizona. After more than 35 years, Dr. Moll still feels veterinary medicine is a great career.


Janet Sherwood, DVM
Dr. Sherwood joined Midland Animal Clinic in 1985 after graduating from University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. She came to Midland with her husband who works for Dow Corning and they have a large "Sheltie family" and one Border Collie named Jenna. The whole family is active in dog agility and has competed on a national level. She and her dogs have achieved several MACH titles. Dr. Sherwood is extremely committed to giving her patients the best possible medical care and works tirelessly in that effort. Dermatology is her favorite area of medicine.


Susan (Sue) Johnson-Wendt, DVM,
CVA After graduating from Michigan State University's College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, Dr. Sue opened her own mixed animal clinic in the thumb area. She joined Midland Animal Clinic in 1995 to be in her hometown while she raises her daughter and son. Dr. Johnson-Wendt is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist after graduating from the Chi Institute in 2005. She not only devotes a large portion of her life to her children and their activities, the welfare of pets through veterinary medicine, but also tries to find time to garden and take care of her own pet family.


  

Ashley Elzerman, DVM
Dr. Elzerman is originally from South Carolina. She has her Masters in Wildlife Technology, and graduated with her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2009. Dr. Elzerman worked in North Caroline for a while after graduation, but moved to Michigan with her husband Matt. She has a cat named Applesauce. In her free time she enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities, while her professional interests lie in dentistry and opthamology.



Karen Mikols, DVM
Dr. Karen Mikols received her Bachelors Degree at the University of Illinois. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and performed her clinical year at Texas A&M University. After practicing outside her hometown of Chicago for two years, Dr. Mikols worked in Granbury, Texas for four years. In June 2012, Dr. Mikols moved to Midland, Michigan to be closer to her family. Dr. Mikols is married to her husband, Charles, and has a daughter, Karleigh. Her pet family includes two French Bulldogs named Pork Chop and Taters, a Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo named Louie, and a Senegal Parrot named Squirt. In her free time, Dr. Mikols enjoys sewing, scrapbooking, getting outdoors on her family land and spending time with her family. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery.
