Mr. James Whipple, Pet Care
Mr. Whipple received his Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan. Earlier he was a caseworker with the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Harrison Michigan and a technician with Pillsbury in KC. His pet family includes some felines, past and present. He enjoys hunting, fishing, biking and traveling. He is very much interested in the many aspects of Veterinary Medicine.

Justina has worked at MAC for nearly 14 years. She has two dogs, Shorty and Gavin. Justina enjoys boating, fishing, camping and spending time with friends and family, including her boyfriend Mark and his daughter Maddie.

Courtney, Veterinary Assistant
Courtney has been working with animals for 15 years, 8 of which have been here at MAC. She is currently attending Davenport University and working towards an Associates degree in Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy. Courney has been married for three years to her husband Jim and has a two year old daughter, Aubrey. Her family pets include a Brittany Spaniel, Remington, and a cat, Tigger. In her free time, Courtney enjoys camping, boating, shopping and hunting with her family.

Amanda, Veterinary Assistant
Amanda first started working with us in August of 2008 as a Kennel Assistant. She has since moved up to Veterinary Assistant, and handles most of the social media, website, and IT work. She is also currently taking classes in a Veterinary Technician program. Amanda has a rescued Pit Bull/ Greyhound Mix named Derby whom she loves very much. Her hobbies include singing, running and acting in her local community theater.
Jessica, Pet Care
Jessica graduated from Western High School in 2010. She then joined the MAC family in September, and became part of our Pet Care team. Jessica loves animals and eventually wants to work towards a career as a Veterinary Technician. She has lived in Michigan all of her life and currently lives in Linwood in the country. Her family has several animals that include two English Bulldogs, two Toy Poodles, a Bull Terrier, a Shih Tzu, and a cat. Her personal pet is an English Bulldog named Lexie. She has had her for nine years and Lexie is quite a character! Jessica is the oldest of her siblings with two half brothers and two half sisters. In her free time, she loves riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, playing softball, camping, riding her pedal bike, and spending time with family and friends. Jessica is also a huge Detroit Tigers fan. Go Tigers!
Nicole, Receptionist
Nicole studied Business Management and Office Administration at Delta College. Recently she received her AAHA Receptionist Certificate. She has worked in the veterinary field for 16 years, joining MAC in 2011. Nicole is married to her husband, Steven, and has two children. Also part of her family are 3 labradors and a cat. In her free time she enjoys camping, spending time outdoors and family time.
Tracey, Receptionist
Tracey has a Bachelors degree in Animal Bioscience from Penn State University. She has worked at MAC for almost two years now. She has one Jack Russell Terrier named Chip at home and two children, Haley and Ryan. She is married to her husband, Rodney. In her free time Tracey likes to go on hikes, spend time with her family and loves to cook and bake.
Tara, Veterinary Assistant
Tara received her Associates degree in Business Management from Delta College and is currently working towards her Bachelors degree. She got her start in the veterinary field 7 years ago when she obtained a position as a Kennel Assistant, and then quickly advanced to Veterinary Assistant. She has held this position for 6 years, one of which has been here, at Midland Animal Clinic. She hopes to utilize her degree in management in the veterinary field, where she has a special interest in team leadership. Tara has a 10 year old son, Elijah. Her furry children include a 1 year old American Bulldog/ Pit Bull Mix, Paisley, and a 6 year old Himalayan cat, Kiki. In her spare time Tara enjoys traveling, running and spending time with her son.
Sarah, LVT
Sarah graduated from Baker College of Flint in 2011 with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined MAC in July 2012. Sara has a special interest in exotic animals, and her furry family consists of a pair of rabbits, Lindsay and Emmett. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys camping with her family, reading, and watching classic movies.
Dawn, Pet Care
Dawn is a native of the Sanford/ Midland area. She has three children: Danielle, Kaitlyn and Sean and is married to Greg. She is a former adminstrative employee of Dow Chemical, and has a special talent for art and graphic design, but her passion is animals. She has two golden retrievers named Jackson and Bailey, a black feline named Binx, an orange tabby named Cheetos, a leopard gecko named Rocky and a white hamster named Spike. Dawn also fosters animals for Great Lakes Bay Animal Society whenever possible and makes trips to neighboring counties to rescue from animal control shelters in her spare time. She enjoys hanging out with her family, cooking, camping, photography, going for walks, bike rides or long drives to enjoy God's artistry, and drawing or painting wildlife and landscapes.
Karrie, Pet Care
Karrie has worked at MAC since the end of December 2012. She loves all types of animals and takes a special interest in taking in injured animals such as a wide variety of birds, snakes, a raccoon, and even a baby mouse once. Her family includes her parents, three siblings, three Laborador Retrievers and two cats. Recently she lost her much loved yellow lab of 12 years, Ally, whom she spent most of her free time with. She is currently attending Delta College for nursing. Her hobbies include traveling to the U.P., playing softball, and spending time with family and friends.
